發現了一顆有趣的星球，外圍環繞著閃爍光點的星環。
星球本身也如星河般閃耀。
就決定了，把這裡當作這趟旅程的第一個著陸點，去一探究竟。

I discovered an intriguing planet, encircled by a ring of flickering lights.
The planet itself shimmered like a galaxy.
That settled it—this would be the first landing point of the journey, a place to explore and uncover its secrets.


《新大陸》描繪的是離開太陽系後，旅程中所遇見的第一顆星球。這顆星球閃耀著神祕的光芒，環繞著一圈絢爛的星環。畫面中，太空梭自右下角緩緩駛入，在星球的巨大比例下，更凸顯出旅人的渺小與未知的壯闊。

星球本體以銀箔為基底，層層堆疊梨子地粉、乾漆粉與金粉，經過多重罩染，使其表面呈現出一種帶有朦朧光暈的神秘色彩。星環則選用多種螺鈿材料製作，透過不同切割尺寸從左下角的大片螺鈿漸漸過渡至右上角的細碎光點，呈現出星環旋轉時的層次與立體感，也彷彿是時間與空間在此刻凝結的軌跡。

" The New World " depicts the first planet encountered after leaving the solar system. This celestial body glows with a mysterious radiance, surrounded by a magnificent, vibrant ring. In the composition, a spacecraft slowly enters from the lower right, and its tiny presence emphasizes the vastness and unknown scale of the planet it approaches.

The planet’s surface is created using a base layer of silver foil, overlaid with pearlescent powder, dry lacquer powder, and gold powder. Through multiple layers of coating and glazing, the surface takes on a dreamy, halo-like glow that evokes mystery. The ring is crafted using a variety of mother-of-pearl materials, transitioning from larger, bold fragments in the lower left to fine, twinkling pieces in the upper right. This gradation captures the dimensionality and motion of a rotating ring, as if time and space have momentarily frozen along its path.
