Having left the Milky Way and heading toward the next galaxy,
the scenery along the way is so enchanting, it makes you forget the passage of time.


本作品採用石目塗技法，以碳粉多次堆疊出宇宙獨有的深黑質地，並運用不同粒徑的碳粉製造出高低起伏的紋理層次。藝術家依照設計計畫，將白漆、螺鈿碎片、金粉與銀粉依序嵌入各層凹縫中，再以琥珀色透明漆封罩，使整體畫面在黑色中綻放細密星光。畫面中央以銀粉破題，描繪出太空梭穿越宇宙時留下的軌跡與前進的方向。這不只是對宇宙空間的描繪，更是一種穿越浩瀚、留下痕跡的行動詩。

This piece employs the Ishime-nuri (stone texture lacquer) technique, using multiple layers of carbon powder to create the universe’s uniquely deep black surface. Varying grain sizes of carbon powder are used to build textured layers of depth and relief. Following the design plan, the artist embeds white lacquer, fragments of mother-of-pearl, gold powder, and silver powder into the crevices of each layer. An amber-tinted transparent lacquer is then applied to seal the surface, allowing delicate starlight to shimmer within the darkness.
At the center of the composition, silver powder marks the trail and forward path of a spacecraft as it journeys through space. This is not merely a depiction of the cosmos—it is a poetic act of traversing the vast unknown, leaving a trace behind.
